Knit Toddler Dinosaur Hat

For Halloween this year I decided to knit a dinosaur hat for my toddler because he's been really interested in dinosaurs lately. I made one for both of my sons (infant hat pattern will be available later) because I think it's adorable when siblings have coordinating costumes. I searched Ravelry and found some great patterns but they either didn't use the yarn weight that I had, didn't have multiple sizes, or were a bit too detailed for the time I had. I knew I could make the spikes so I decided to make a regular hat and add the spikes. I was happily surprised when I checked my e-mail and saw that I had been nominated for the Liebster Award by Lenetta Carnes . I was glad to see that she enjoyed my Persi-nnamon Bread recipe. Knit Baby Dino Hat

As promised I am going to share the pattern for the dino hat I knit for my youngest son. I used the same materials but just made it smaller. My youngest was almost 5 months when I made it but he has a big head. This should fit him for a while longer.
